Taupe, Putty, Gray, Grey, What?

I love the color of the walls in this room. It is very warm and soothing to the eye. Does this cross between a tan and a gray paint color have a name other than tannish gray? via
ladyhawthorne thinks it's 'Mushroom' and I think she might be right.

looks like the one they call mushroom.

I agree with Lady Hawthorne, mushroom sounds familiar. I had to search for a taupe gray when we refurbished our guest bath and Benjamin Moore had a mushroom named paint...I went with London Fog, couldn't resist.

We have this color in our living room. Sherwin Williams calls it "windsor greige".

We have an Aussie paint Company who do an almost identical colour. Sadly it has the most unfortunate name of Hog Bristle. No exactly designer chic.

Trust this is of assistance.
