Webster's Favorite Spot

Webster has a window on his world in this spot. He can watch me cook in the kitchen straight ahead, see my mother if she comes upstairs to his right, look out the french door to the balcony on his left, and nap whenever the moment is right. His dog dish is within sight from here too. I had a request for a Webster update so here he is. I might add that he has taken to sneaking on this sofa in the middle of the night too which does not please me at all.
He must have gotten tired of this sofa on the other side of the room. Little guy is Piggie who came for a sleepover.

And this one opposite the fireplace. I give up.

Aw-w-w Webster just needs a soft spot to rest his head.

Awww, Webster, you are just the sweetest dog. I think I would probably let you do about whatever you want. I am sure you get by with alot, just like Cocoa and Theodore!

Dear Webster truly is in charge, isn't he. Perhaps it's a little wintery draft along the floor which nudges him to higher ground during the night. Sweet dreams to all in your house wherever you may lay your heads this damp night.

Webster looks quite comfy and his line of vision sounds perfect! Couch sneaking is a skill that takes practice and timing which he appears to have down to a science!

I always admire people who have such an obvious affection for their pets. I think it says a lot about what kind of people they are ... very special people.

Your house is beautiful -- this photo should be in a decorating magazine.

Rosemary,
What a pretty living room you have. Webster is the perfect accessory! Our big dog used to sneak up on the sofa when were were gone, then would sheepishly slip off once we put the key in the door, but you could feel the sofa spot she had been sleeping on and it was warm...and she usually licked her paws so you would see a wet spot. :-)
