One of the joys of my childhood was the bookmobile! The other was the ice cream truck.

I totally agree with your remarks as I feel the same way. I've had my nose in several books for the past 5 weeks to the detriment of all other responsibilities, I think it's time to get the balance in my life back on track.
Oh...I want this photo framed. I live in the outskirts of Chicago. I grew up in this lovely city. I think anything vintage especially photography from here is great! How sweet with the children and to hear your story.
Rosemary, What a charming photograph. We didn't have book mobiles but we had ice cream trucks, milk delivery and the Helms Bakery Truck delivering donuts and bread and such. Oh what a fun time strolling down memory lane. Karen
