There is still time to make a more permanent version for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day if you are a shell collector. No sweetheart? Make one for yourself. This was a popular motif in sailor art valentines that are sought after folk art antiques now. via

We were on Galveston Island (TX) this week. I almost bought some 'shell art.' Then I noticed everything in the store was from China. Strange I never noticed where it was made before - I've been going to the seaside for almost 50 years. Your beach art is beautiful - wish I had thought of that.
I kid you not, just today, I got out a whole bunch of shells and was fiddling with them, trying to decide what to do with them. Now, I know. Were you reading my mind, Rosemary? Have a good night :)
Great idea - thanks !
I love this...going to try one! Love your blog, really beautiful! Happy to have found another like-minded spirit...visit mine if you get a chance!
Best,
Anne
