A Kitchen to Drool Over

Shall we start with the ceiling and work our way down in this kitchen? Are you impressed yet? I love these hanging lights with the black shades...always a favorite. I think a serious cook would be very happy here preparing deliciousness for tonight's Oscar presentations. via

I'm pretty sure the only movie I've seen that is up for an Oscar is 'The Help' so I won't be compelled to stay awake until the end.  I'll start watching early because the best part to me is studying  the stars as they walk down the red carpet. Enjoy the last Sunday in February.

It is a wonderful kitchen. No don't believe that we will be dressing up for the Academy Awards. We have taken in only The Help and The Artist, two very nice films. Just the same, it will be a very nice evening for as long as we last. I'll be thinking of you.

I love that kitchen too Rosemary - think I've seen it before.
The wide island bench is perfect for children to be with Mama in the kitchen - doing homework or drawing etc.

I guess we'll see Oscars tonight - like you i couldn't watch a whole night of it though....

Wishing you a new week full of all life's pleasures dfear Rosemary!

I watched the beginning but then found the book I have been reading more of a draw. Maybe I'm showing my age or maybe the Oscars are showing their age but I find they have become very predictable and not necessarily in a good way.

The only movie I had seen was The Help, tried to see the Artist but it had already left the theaters in our area. Maybe The Artist will come back after it's Oscar win, I hear that the dog is really the star of the movie.

My favorite quote from last night, before I turned off the TV, was “Nothing can take the sting out of an economic crisis like watching millionaires present each other with golden statues.”
