Looking at this yawning cat makes me sleepy. I think I'll close up shop and catch up with programs on my DVR. First on the list is 'The Good Wife' recorded last night while I was watching Downton Abbey. Oh, by the way was anyone out there but me annoyed when a big red rectangle appeared on the screen asking viewers to go to Facebook and discuss something or someone? I think it wanted members to vote for the man they wanted most for Mary. If this is going to be commonplace, I hope there is a way to disable it. I watch TV to get away from the computer! via

Goodnight, Rosemary. What a pretty kitty!
I saw it too and didn't much care for it. I get tired of polls.
I took exception to two things...don't get me wrong...I LOVE Downton Abbey, but a stuffed toy for Matthew? Really? Why not a scented handkerchief or scarf, or a lock of her hair? And Edith. Why couldn't the writers just let her uproot trees and plow the fields. You know, an honest day's work without the barnyard hanky-panky.
The scenery as always, delicious and so are the gorgeous gowns, hats and delicate jewelry. Maggie Smith as the sour Dowager Countess, perfect. And I adore Matthew's mother.
I didn't notice that when I was watching last night. That would have aggravated me.
Good Wife was really good last night.

Hmm I didn't notice it. I really dislike it when they flash things on the screen though. It seems there has to be several things going on at the same.....and they wonder why children can't focus.

I didn't see any poll (watching on PBS in metro DC area). Did anyone think it was more difficult to understand the actors this time around? I had to keep increasing the volume (it was as tho' they were swallowing their words). But I thought the actors were less stilted this season and am thrilled to learn that they're now in production for the next season (utilizing such incredible history in their plotlines, they can go on right up to post WWII - hooray for something good on TV for a change).
