Snowdrops in January

Mine haven't come up yet but few leaf tips are just barely poking through the  earth. I usually don't get them until February because they don't get any direct sun where they are planted at my house. I photographed these this morning at my friend's house. Snowdrops are always the first sign of spring.

I dont't believe it, but in my garden there are crocuses. Normally they come in march. We have a much more warm winter as we expected.

But there are signs that (maybe) the weather will change.

In that case, poor crocusses with snow on their head.

An early sign of Spring for sure.

This has been the strangest winter. This morning it was warmish, then just a couple of hours later, I had to snap Rocky's coat on. (The chihuahua.)

Every day it's a weather adventure.

Rosemary are you on Pinterest. I've joined recently but I'm not still completely convinced.

The snow drops are popping up everywhere in my garden in Northern Virginia and I've decided that it will be quite alright not to have winter this year. There, it's official.
