I have bulb forcing vases all over the place in my cottage. I always look for them in thrift shops and at tag sales. This bulb is really reaching for the ceiling and the flowers should start popping out any day now.

I have yet to bring in my amaryllis bulbs (2) that go back one and two years, respectively. Last year, I had great luck with the one I left in the garden until the first frost, trimmed, bought into a cool dark place (garage), and, ultimately, the house where it flourished. Wish me luck. Each bulb contains beautiful blooms, very different from the other.
