It rained really hard all night long but quit sometime before morning's early light. The sun is in and out of the clouds and there is a little blue in the sky. The weather people had us all geared up for rain turning to snow but thankfully they were wrong this time. I'm not quite ready, are you? This city snow scene is lovely to look at from afar. via

We thought we might experience snow here in Sweden, but so far it has been rainy and cold. We start heading home soon. The snow is lovely when one is not responsible for shoveling it.
Dear Rosemary..The snow is beautiful. I am like you it's all pretty from afar. :):) The older I get the less I like snow. I read your post of the book, 84 Charing Cross Road. Oh my gosh, I loved the movie !! It's one I could watch every week. Smiles, Susie
Although we'd love a white Christmas, we too are grateful for the delay in snowfall...it makes so much more work (we're on a small farm in Ontario, Canada)...hopefully, it won't arrive late then stay much later than usual! We did have a lovely ice then snow fall last week...I've posted the best photos on my blog today!
I am all good with the snow, now that I am retired. Looking forward to watching it fly from the new den!
Oh my, how lovely!! I'd love to be walking down that street under the lights and drinking in all that beauty. I can just hear how quiet it looks.
I wish it snowed where I live. How beautiful it can be.
