I love the swags of Christmas greens in this early room. The simplicity is perfect with the beautiful paneled fireplace wall. What a nice place to dine on a cold winter's night.
I love all your blog posts.....LOVE!!! I especially loved this one; and I am so sorry I have not taken the time to comment before!!
Webster and you are both divine!
I love that dog frame you scanned.....as well as the quote from Dorothy Draper! How right she is!
My husband and I are on week vacation; and we saw a really great movie tonight. "Margin Call" Don't go.
The divine dog who dies (of old age) looks just like Webster! I burst into tears! Sobbing !!!(embarrassing!!) in the theater! Just don't. (or hide your eyes when the dog is in the scene) honestly; I thought....."I have to write her not to go!" while I was watching it! Thank God my husband always carries a hanky!
I also should have been sobbing about the catastrophe that these people on the "risk floor" caused for all of us!
I believe that I have saved this, too, but, unlike you, wouldn't be able to quickly locate it. It IS a lovely setting - I would like to invite myself right into it for a bit of good Christmas cheer. It's a very grey day here. But, cosy indoors. Linda

Rosemary,
I love simple and there seems to be a lot more of it in homes this year. I hope you are enjoying this final countdown.

(But it was the dog that got me!)
