I live in rural Ontario where we're surrounded by log buildings; all our barns are 150+ years old. It's so interesting to see these Norwegian log structures...same materials, but their own unique style! Beautiful...I imagine everyone sleeping under white duvets in those cozy houses!
When I look at this wonderful photo, I can hear the snow crunch under my feet and the cold tickles the little hairs inside of my nose! I can't wait to reach the bottom of the little hill to enter the warm dwelling behind the yellow glow!. I love it!!!!

They certainly know how to build a good sturdy roof to support the weight of that snow cover and very well insulated. I'm impressed.
I always liked the photos of Norway but I really fell in love with it during the Winter Olympics in, was it 1994? Anyway, lovely photo!
Roros is a nice town to be, been there once..very cute..and expensive ;)
Happy new year

So charming.
Excellent photo.
Glad I don't have to shovel all that snow.
Wouldn't mind visiting for a day or two.
Would love to walk those streets in the quiet of the night peaking into the windows.
Easy to say that last two as I sit in 58 degree weather.
