If you want to save yourself some time and money, read the 1,000 word review of Steve Jobs's authorized biography in The New Yorker. It's absolutely fascinating. Steve's wife deserves a medal.

Whoa. I realize he was a genius, but I'm not sure he was a very kind person...maybe that's okay for the betterment of the world of technology, but I would have liked it better to read of a more generous spirit.

Brutal yet fascinating synopsis. I'm with you Rosemary, the erstwhile life partner needed not only a gold medal, but a cannonization! All that intellectualizing of life's minutiae would have totally & utterly done my head in!
