Happy Thanksgiving

I scanned this graphic from my antiquarian book of crests and added the type. This is my Thanksgiving card to all of you.

Gratitude is the sign of noble souls. ~ Aesop

Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence.~Erma Bombeck

Hi Rosemary,
Thanks for the "delicious" photos and I hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Each Thanksgiving I think of dear Erma, recalling a piece filmed in her home for the Today Show (if think) years ago. It began with her retrieval of huge platters and roasting pans from awkward places. She polished and chopped and baked and stuffed and, at the very last, she was all alone at one end of her exquisite dining table with empty glasses and dishes still in place. The cooking/eating ratio is true. Just the same, I really love this holiday.
Enjoy and lovely Thanksgiving, Rosemary.

Irma definitely has it figured out but I'm hoping I can persuade my dinner guests to extend dinner to at least a half hour. As always Rosemary your photos are perfection.

Happy Thanksgiving Rosemary! Your card is so lovely - I've taken the liberty of sharing it on Stylesson. You do a terrific job of putting those together!
