I adore this chair and ottoman and the slipcovers. What a cozy place to rest your weary bones. Perfect for Sunday mornings and a big fat newspaper too. Enjoy what's left of your weekend depending on your timezone.
I do believe I could spend the entire weekend in a chair like this - welcoming, comfy, fresh, beckoning and with natural light from behind - a chair for a vacation at home. Enjoy your Sunday, Rosemary. Linda
As I recall, back in the 50's there was a chair almost identical to this in my family's living room and my mother made slipcovers for it--something I would never try in a million years. Her other sewing talents included alterations to clothing for both men and women. Even in the 21st Century, this style of chair still looks comfy and inviting.

I just wanted to drop you a line and say that I have been reading your blog EVERY DAY for (I think) almost 3 years, and I love it. Thank you so much!

I believe the chair is "Savannah", by Pottery Barn. It is charming.
Oh, I do love ticking and a comfy chair.
