I think this was taken at the races just recently. I just happen to see Kate in an article talking about the hats worn to the races.
William, Kate and Harry were at Epsom Racecourse this Saturday to watch the Epsom Derby Race! The Queen and various other members of the Royal Family were there too. It is a very colourful occasion and all the racegoers dress up in wonderful hats and outfits and many travel to the racecourse in open top London buses. A very British affair!
This Picture was taken at the Epsom races this past Saturday. The Queen had a horse that everyone was hoping would win the big race...alas it lost. All the Royals showed up to support the Queen. I'm not a racing fan but I am a fan of men in Morning Coats and Top Hats and women in Fabulous Hats. Catherine's dress was made by our very own Ralph Lauren. The Queen's birthday celebration and the Ascot races are next week. Can't wait to see what this new Duchess wears to those events. She looks elegant with a bit of 40s flair.
