How Many Plates Can You Put on A Wall?

I love these white and transferware plates on the gray wall. I don't see any evidence of the usual wire plate holders and wonder how they are staying up? Maybe it's magnetic paint? Now wouldn't that be fun? Glue magnets to the back of the plates and stick them all over until you get a pleasing arrangement. via Crush Cul de Sac

Personally I think that is somewhat of an overkill, but whatever floats your boat, lol.

If you ever figure out how they mounted the plates let me know. I really don't like those plate hangers, but I do like plates on the wall.

Rosemary,
Here is the link to a company that makes disc hangers that will hold plates up without the wires and such.

I have a friend that just bought some and she said they are amazing.

They are probably using something called "Adhesive Plate Disks" and they are available at many craft stores. You wet the back of the disk and it sticks to the plate. The disk has a wring on it to hang on the hook on the wall.
Voila! I have never used them, but they look as if they might work!
