PS22 Chorus - Musical Finale at 2011 Oscars

Did you stay awake until the END of the Oscars last night? I did for the first time in years just to see the PS22 Chorus perform at the finale. They were great. Read an article from Staten Island bursting with local pride about these darling 5th graders and also today's New York Times article which explains that their tee shirts are color coded -- green for sopranos and blue for altos.

I stayed up also. I really just watched the Oscars to see PS 22. The only movie I saw this year that was nominated was Toy Story 3!

Oh Thank you for sharing about these kids. I did watch wanting to see them after your earlier post. They were great! Mr. B, as the kids call him, is making the world a better place in so many ways.

Those kids deserved to be on at the beginning of the show not at the end. I kept thinking it was so late for them to be up and that a lot of viewers probably had quit watching as the show was so disappointing. PS22 did not disappoint, they were terrific. I agree with Penny, Mr B is making the world and these kid's world a better place.
