There wasn't a leaf in sight when I finished mowing the back yesterday. All of these fell overnight.
I swept the front walk last night at 6:00 pm. I am the only person I ever see in my neighborhood using a broom and a rake. Everyone else uses those horrible leaf blowers. I'm enjoying this warm rainy day.

Oh, what a beautiful yard! Its so serene ... as long as the leaf blowers aren't going I'm sure. ;-)

How delightful are all those leaves. Just makes me feel like I want to run through your yard...:-)! xxx
oh dear!...there IS something we disagree on (i just didn't think that could be)...i love those horrible leaf blowers...
I raked my leaves yesterday, and wished the neighbor next door wouldn't use the leaf blower EVERY morning. Yes, I believe we're a dying breed.
its always interesting in the fall when all of a sudden so many of the leaves literally just fall from the trees. its always a rainy blustery day that is the tipping point. kind of sad though too. it was a nice warm rain today.. i was out in it too. :)
I hate the noise....but it does help get the job done faster....sorry R!!!! I rake and he blows with the wind machine where I can"t get the rake....and with as many acorns as we have this year....and do we HAVE acorns....it was good to have the noisey thing going!!! But I do prefer the swish swish swish of the rake....and your garden is beautiful.....although a little leafy!!!!!
I'm a broom girl too with all our leaves Rosemary. MOTH thinks I'm crazy, but I find an hour behind the broom along our garden paths strangely therapeutic.
