Tasha Tudor Estate | Family Feud Still In The Courts

Battling heirs of author/artist Tasha Tudor back in court: "BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A family feud over the $2 million estate of famed children's book author Tasha Tudor raged on Friday, with a Probate Court judge warning that barring settlement, the only eventual winners may be the lawyers involved." Such a shame. Read my original post about the Tudor Family Feud.

The first photo is a scan of my very own copy of The Secret Garden illustrated by Tasha Tudor with the original dust jacket.

I love this charming image of hers called Cat in the Mixing Bowl.

Poor dear Tasha, I have been an admirer of her work for many years and having read a few books about her and her life I know she would not have wanted her family fighting over the fruits of her talents.
Isn't it a sad commentary on humans that after a death we become someone else and behave poorly. Indeed a shame.

Such a shame. Who are these heirs? What is going to happen to her lovely home and gardens? Just wondering. Joan@anythinggoeshere

Eu não conhecia o livro, só o filme. Até comprei de tanto que gosto. As ilustrações são adoráveis! Não sabia que os herdeiros brigavam na justiça. Seu blog é muito lindo! Beijos
