Wallpaper Cookies | Too Pretty To Eat
These iced shortbread Cookies patterned after an Osborn & Little wallpaper look too pretty to eat, don't they? Order online from Miette in San Francisco. This very wallpaper decorates their shop. What a great gift for an interior designer. Click around their site and be sure to look at the photo gallery and swoon over the other amazingly beautiful baked confections they offer via mail order. I'm impressed, aren't you? Now I'm hungry and think it's time to cook my breakfast. If I were in SF I'd go there in person and eat something delicious. Have a great weekend, Rosemary.

I'd buy two, one to eat and one to frame!
I was "oohing and ahhing" over these very same cookies(saw them on Design Sponge) this morning!
What a brilliant idea(could be done with any fabric design/pattern you happen to like).
So pretty!

So pretty! Saw the shop recently in a new magazine (Traf Home?) and tore out the page to remind myself to go there in person. I don't know if I could actually eat such a perfect cookie though...
Thanks, Rosemary, & everyone!
It would be so fun to make similar cookies for someone, based on the wallpaper in their home, or a design of their own! I copied & traced the flowers from the wallpaper, futzed with the sizing, & sent the line drawings off to www.coppergifts.com. They make beautiful copper custom cookie cutters by hand! They're pricey, but would make a memorable gift.
Love the wallpaper cookies!
Rosemary ~ I could just reach out and grab one of these luscious cookies!
Once again, you have outdone yourself. I often wonder how long you sit to find all the beautiful things you share with your readers -- which certainly are NOT "cookie-cutter". :-)
