Newborn Baby Birds | Amazing Photo

I wonder what kind of baby birds these are? The beak looks rather like an ostrich. I don't think I've ever seen a more amazing photo of such brand new life. I'm so glad they have each other. Their heads remind me of figs.

Oh how sweet. When I was a child my mom used to rescue baby birds when fallen from the nest. A big box would come into the unused dinig room and a wire mesh would be placed over top. They would reside here until they recovered and grew stronger.
It was one thing I remember so vividly.

Bless their little bald heads they are rather homely but I know will quickly turn into something incredibly amazing and beautiful.

On an entirely different subject, how about that volcano eruption in Iceland and all the European airports shutting down? That old Mother Nature is mesmerizing and awe inspiring whether it be baby birds or something much larger.

No doubt their beaks were created to catch and grab the food mama puts into their mouths. This is so sweet. It reminds me of the time I brought up 4 orphaned newborn finches. It was a very delicate and hard (but fun) job. They all made it!
