Henry Carey was the son of Mary Boleyn fathered by King Henry VIII. I enjoyed the movie, The Other Boleyn Girl starring Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman two of my favorite young actresses. I love the portrait of Henry. If it's a miniature, I'll take. It would look wonderful with the others in my collection. Enjoy the best day of the week. Rosemary

What a great quote! How funny they would even feel that way back then. Have you read the books, Rosemary? Very good. I never saw the movie, but after reading the book I would like to. We took the house off the market for the holidays and will go back on in February. I'm hosting Christmas and I like to go all out in my holiday decorating; hubby will be very busy at work this time of year, so it seemed the best thing to do.
Have you tuned into The Tudors? Excellent depiction of the era. I am currently engrossed in the CD's of this series.
