November Bluebirds At The Cottage
I never fail to be thrilled when seeing bluebirds on my property. These photos were taken yesterday morning through window glass and screens. I dared not open a window or a door for fear they would fly away. There were quite a few flying around everywhere checking out the accommodations for spring nesting season. I am overjoyed that my camera was handy! Bluebirds in November are a wonderful preview of what's to come in the spring. Aren't you happy for me? Have a great Friday. It is absolutely beautiful here today after an overnight rain. Rosemary

Oh, they are beautiful! Wonderful photos.
What a wonderful way to start the day!
They are such beautiful birds. Before I met my husband, I had never really noticed them. What a shame. I'm glad my eyes have been opened up to the beauty that is all around us!
What nice photos. I hope they found the perfect place to raise their young next spring!
They are beautiful birds, Rosemary. I never see bluebirds here. I do love the cardinals we get and sometimes I'll see some other colorful bird.
I will print this out for my mother in law to see today.
She will be thrilled!
Hi Rosemary...Great photos....They are so beautiful arn't they. Looks like they are happy at your place!!! xoxo~Kathy @ Sweet Up-North Mornings...
I'm happy for you. :) I get very excited with bird sightings too.
You are a very lucky girl. There is just something special about bluebirds. I hope they stay for an extended visit.
Lovely photos! My parents live in Northern California where my father has built several blue bird boxes and is always just thrilled when they use them to rear their young! He's really taught me to appreciate their beauty and their fleeting visits. This year we counted 18 of them drinking from one of his fountains!
Beautiful Rosemary! I had to click on the pics to enlarge them and they're even more beautiful. I love bluebirds too.
Beautiful birds and gorgeous photography!
They are wonderful! !!!! You are so lucky! have a great holiday!
Love,
Vanessa
I too have noticed the bluebirds around our house. I don't remember seeing them this late in the year. Your photos are fantastic. I never have the camera handy.

I would be thrilled if I saw them in my own yard!! But I never do(what am I doing wrong?).
This is a really nice set of photographs. I have never seen a real bluebird here in my backyard but I never saw a Brown Creeper either and then there was one last week. So I still have faith.
