The original drawing is by Beatrix Potter. I don't know anything about the history but I like to think this was her cottage bedroom. You know how much I love her! I must have been dreaming about being in this bed because I slept much later than usual this morning. - Rosemary

I'm totally smitten with this drawing Rosemary & it's so you too. It reminds me of the bed my Grannie had with a big green fat satin feather eiderdown that I loved to cuddle up in & trace all the stitching with my fingers for hours.

Such a sweet drawing and it looks like a perfectly comfortable sleeping space.
I framed three large prints of Potter illustrations for a customer this week--and they made everyone smile who saw them this week(one of Jeremy Fisher eating a "butterfly sandwich").
