Oh, The Temptation 2 hidden cameras, a bunch of kids with one marshmallow each. A study in self-control, willpower, temptation, the power of one marshmallow and lots of humor. Very cute!
The deep woods beside my house one day last week.
I planted some purple kale in some pots for fall color.
Some of my ferns are beginning to die down.
Others are refusing to give up the ghost. Both photos were taken on the same day.
I have an underground
I scanned this bee from my 19th century Royal Book of Crests.
Thanks for stopping by the cottage for a cute film and some photos. ♥Rosemary

I believe those are yellowjackets, not bees. Be careful....the females sting. They're part of the wasp family.
Hello friend, my landscaper tells me that the yellow jackets are "feeding" now. I think if the soil is exposed they really seem to like it. Be careful. They don't seem to be aggressive like a wasp, but if stung, still hurts!
LOVE the marshmellow video!! My husband and I cracked up! Those yellowjackets remind me of when I stepped on one of their nests as a child. Not fun!
Hi Rosemary,
Found you through the Tiny House Blog. I love your blog!
About the yellow jackets...I have a nest behind my home. Got stung while watering - be careful!
I looked up yellow jackets online and found an article that says they do not nest in the same place two years in a row. Cold weather is almost here, so just don't bother them. Next spring put out yellow jacket traps in your yard - they will trap queens looking for nest sights, hopefully preventing a new nest next summer.
Hope that helps...I feel for you!
Ilana
