Webster is depressed again . . .

Depressed is putting it mildly. Webster is actually despondent. He lost his job yesterday. Webster really likes to work. Our dog-sitting-for-friends gig is over. He is looking forward to visiting and feeding his canine friends again really soon. We have to go over for a short visit today to check out their new food to see if their uncle bought the right brand. It's not the same as being in charge, but it will do for the time being. Thanks for stopping by the cottage to give Webster some moral support. ♥Rosemary Content in a Cottage

Canine friends are the best but, at his age, just being with you is doggone good.

Oh, poor Webster. He does look sad. I think you'll have to be extra nice to him for a few days...lots of wonderful walks and scritches behind the ears.
I hope you both have a wonderful weekend, Rosemary.

Awwww!!! I wish that Webster and Desi could hang out. I babysat my grand-dog, Jesse, for a week or so, and Desi sure misses him after he goes home.
;^)

We are taking care of our neighbor's 18 yr old cat (we don't even know these neighbors! they were desperate!).
She gets fed twice a day, and gets 2 insulin shots per day because the poor old kitty is a diabetic.
Webster is welcome to take over the 2 week job!

Oh Webster, I'm so sorry to hear of your misfortune. Times are tough, that's for sure, but I'm guessing that a smart, handsome and talented dog such as yourself won't be out of work for long. So, chin up! and think of this as an "unscheduled" vacation!
