Antique-loving dog + a Fireworks Video + Free Fonts to download . . .

Webster loves to rumple up this rug and use the back rung of an 18thC armchair as a chin rest. He does this all the time so it must be comfortable. It makes me laugh to see him in this awkward-looking position.

I love this font called Cursif. Looks like real handwriting.

I don't know Rosemary - sometimes I'm so tired I could just lay my head down wherever I am and take a nap! Enjoy your 4th!

Thanks, Rosemary, for the fireworks, the fonts and the funny pic of Webster. Maybe he lays down like that on days his neck hurts and it just feels better to keep his head propped up... that's what I do. :) Happy Fourth to you both!

I believe Mr. Webster simply has very good taste. He's a luv. Can't get enough of him.

Have a nice 4th of July, Rosemary. Ours is called Frontier Days. We're a small town of about 4,000 but there's wonderful history here -- surrounding the story of that incredible racehorse, Seabiscuit. His owner, Charles Howard, who kept Seabiscuit on his nearby ranch, saw to it that our current hospital was built after the tragic death of his young son in 1926, when no such medical facility was available to treat injuries the boy suffered in an automobile accident.
Since that time we have made every effort to keep our beloved Howard Memorial Hospital going with all proceeds from the old-fashioned Frontier Days going to the hospital.

I love that quirk of Webster's--sleeping like that!
Nice rug, too...couldn't help not noticing that.

Couldn't think of a finer way to spend Independence Day than at your blog, Rosemary!

Thanks so much for posting the fireworks spectacular - I won't have the chance to see any tonight, so this is great.

Like your other readers and fans - and from one dog lover to another - Webster is adorable!! He and my Maxwell are two peas in a pod. :-)
