One year in 40 seconds [video] from snow to summer and back . . .

One year in 40 seconds from Eirik Solheim on Vimeo.

Images from the same spot through one entire year. Audio captured at the same place.
His last video was entitled: One year in 2 minutes.
Was it too long...getting too few viewers?
Was the same thing accomplished in 40 seconds?
Methinks more people would watch the 40-second one. A sign of the times?

I think you are on to something about most people not being willing to view a 2 minute video like that, as opposed to a 40 second one(I might be guilty of it, myself)
This was wonderful to watch. I was thinking along the same line the other day. I pass a lone tree in a field on my way home from work and it always reflects the season we are in(right now with the faintest tinge of red-pink buds at the tips of the tree's branches)and thought it would be a good idea to film that tree from the same spot every day of the year.

I liked the 40 seconds in 1 year but I actually loved the 2 minute one. I noticed the trees budding more, sounds and coming to life, yet a bit more slowly. Anything to slow down life is ok by me! Loved it Rosemary.

Oh, how odd.....I JUST got done posting about the need to slow down. Then, I came to check up on your postings and find this and your comments about our need to have things go faster....how funny!
This video is wonderful. And yes, I would take the slow version any day.
I just love the interesting things you find. Thank you.
