The summer of '87 was a year of "The 17 Year Locusts." That summer, my hubby & another couple went to the Cincinnati Zoo; so that they wouldn't be "bugged" by the all the locusts, they had all the big animals in the elephant building during the day. We saw some of the giraffes walking over to the fence, so my friend & I went over to to pet them. They were SO big! We had to reach up a little just to pet their chests ~ & while we were petting them, unbeknownst to us, 1 was bending it's long neck over the top of the fence, where it reached down & slowly & firmly yet gently LICKED the entire top of my head!!!!! Fortunately for me, it had a very dry tongue & there was nothing ickie left behind! Ha!

A little dangerous, but pretty darn cute.
I think so too. Happy Mother Day to your mom and you maybe.
