Trees are your best antiques . . .

Alexander Smith, (1830-1867) Scottish Poet

My photograph. I planted 600 trees at my previous residence. I had a lot of them transplanted here when I moved. This blue spruce is approximately 18 years old and almost as tall as a telephone pole. The beautiful grove of evergreens in front of my house shields it from the road very nicely.

I got my trees from www.croshawnursery.com

I went to southern New Jersey to pick them up but they do mail order. I got 2+2 transplants. I don't think I lost a single one. Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, Douglas Fur and White pines...all were deer proof.

I am planning to plant some here in the spring.

The prices are very inexpensive. Good for fundraisers, etc.

Thanks for your comments...Rosemary
