Deep Dish Balsamic Cherry Pie with Black Pepper Crust
Now that's what I call a cherry pie.
Go to Adventures in Cooking for the recipe. There is a link for the printable version too. Many more droolingly delicious photos on the website. I can't wait for cherries to be in season. Have a great weekend.

My Trees are Budding

Time to Tuck in Soon
This will be Webster pretty soon. He's out on the balcony in the pitch black dark looking for the fox. Every now and then he makes a soft "woof" to let me know he's still out there. The doors are wide open so he can come inside when he's ready for me to tuck him in. See you tomorrow morning. xo Sleep tight.
Historic Stevens Creek Farm
Photograph by Joel Sartore. Historic Stevens Creek Farm near Lincoln Nebraska. It's beautiful, isn't it? The sun finally came out at my house too and the rain is over. My windows are wide open and I'm hoping the furnace won't go on again!!! xo
