I though I was busy until I found this photo of a Mama Duck and her 10 precious yellow ducklings. She really has her wings full, doesn't she? I am simply swamped with paperwork and am working as hard as I can to dig myself out. Luckily it is too cold and wet to work outside.

I'd say this kitchen is really over the top, wouldn't you? Don't you love the bread drawers? I think it's way too pretty to mess up. Every time I cook from scratch my kitchen looks like a cyclone hit it. If I am doing holiday cooking I can usually keep it under control but when I bake cookies on the spur of the moment I'm in big trouble. Why is that? I guess my mind isn't ready and didn't get enough advance notice.

Warning, Ree Drummond makes Paula Deen look like a rookie when it comes to using the richest, most fattening ingredients on the planet. I never even thought of tearing up the bread like you do for a strata. Let me know if you make this. Now I'm going downstairs to eat my boring oatmeal.
