Acorn Drawer Pull

I love acorns and oak leaves in any form. I have an antique sewing table with these wonderful brass pulls.

The Beekeeper's Apprentice

The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R. King. (The author has a great website.) A novel of suspense featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes. This is the page-turning mystery I'm reading today. It's soooooo good.

I took a little break to whip up two batches of homemade yogurt. I scanned the book cover to share. Highly recommended. Back to reading now. Later, Rosemary

A River Of Blue Flowers

Isn't this river of blue flowers beautiful? I'm engrossed in a good book and it's raining hard outside so I'm seizing the day. My taxes are finished and I deserve some time off. Later, Rosemary

Monday Kitchen Love

I love everything about this kitchen, the white subway tiles, the white cabinets, the gray granite, the gray and white checkerboard floor, the stainless appliances, the artwork, the blinds, absolutely everything. I especially like the cabinet above the sink with side cutouts resembling an antique hanging cupboard. This is absolute perfection in my book.

Tiny Cottage With Thatched Roof

Isn't this the sweetest thing you've ever seen? I love the decorative pattern that was worked into the thatched roof. Only in England can you see these. A few people in New Jersey tried putting these on outbuildings but I don't think they ever caught on. I think it proved to bee too expensive to import craftsmen from Britain. I love the random patches of daffodils too. My first full day of Spring was excellent. Hope yours was too. Rosemary

Three Dogs, An Injured Porcupine, And Three Pelicans

The three pups are showing cooperation and teamwork at an early age.
Poor porcupine...what happened to your leg?
Ouch, when will these young pelicans be able to feed themselves? That poor mother.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. It's a lovely day at my cottage on the first full day of Spring.

Bibury In The Cotswolds

Bibury village is a popular visitor attraction situated in the Cotswolds Gloucestershire a few miles from Cirencester. This is a place I somehow missed in all my travels to the Cotswolds, my favorite section of England. I've been to Cirencester, so close but now so far. Boo Hoo.

Meadow Full Of Red Poppies

I honestly think poppies are my favorite flowers. Is there anything prettier than a meadow full of red ones? I think not.
