Tiny Bath Under The Stairs
I love everything about this tiny bath tucked under the stairs. I'd love to have a window over my sink instead of a mirror. I usually walk over to the window to look outside while I'm brushing my teeth. Wildflowers: Common Fleabane and Multiflora Rose
I thought the first flowers on my property were some sort of wild aster but found out they are common fleabane. Who knew? The multiflora roses are so fragrant this time of year. Walking among them yesterday was like being in a perfume factory. I honestly never knew they had such sweet tiny pink rosebuds.
I found a great site where you can search wildflowers by color with results shown in great photo galleries @ The Connecticut Botanical Society. I showed the photo gallery photos they provided as links under each of my photos. Hope this site helps you identify your wildflowers.

House Wren Posing For The Camera
Click to enlarge each photo. This little bird is one of my favorites. I love the happy singing that fills the air as these tiny house wrens flit about. The last photo is the scene of the action. I was standing on the bank way to the right beyond the width of the photo.Don't you love all the buttercups? I've never had so many. They are such happy little wildflowers, aren't they?

Ladybug Love
I almost missed these tiny red ladybugs with the black spots when I was looking for photo opps in my backyard earlier today. Ladybugs are red and black to remind predators that they taste awful. I'm not going to eat one so you can't prove it by me. Once again I managed to capture insects in an intimate moment. It's about time to turn off the computer and get ready for Monday night TV beginning with Antiques Roadshow on PBS. Goodnight, see you tomorrow. Rosemary

I love these tiny blue forget-me-nots. They make me happy just to look at them. I went to an open house recently and they were growing wild in great abundance all over the place. Beautiful Library in Baltimore
I go to the Morristown or Madison libraries at least once a week. A brand new library just opened in Harding Township; the ribbon cutting was Friday and I forgot all about it. It is beautiful and was built with private funds. Many local residents were opposed but I think they will be thrilled with it even if their taxes go up a tiny bit.
The lovely old Morristown library has been closed for two weeks because of an underground explosion that blew out some doors, windows, and an 8' thick hole in the basement ceiling. There have been various manhole cover explosions throughout the downtown Morristown vicinity and JCP&L can't identify the problem. Luckily one of the librarians saw the smoke in the street early on that Monday morning and the library was evacuated before opening bell for the public. The authorities say the violent explosion would likely have resulted in fatalities. I was one of the last customers on the previous day. I had to return my mother's audio tapes to Madison yesterday.

Great Soaking Tub
I really like this country bath, don't you? I'm especially in love with the simple shelf design. What a great look. I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning for my hot bath so I'll be squeeky clean for my Open House. Wish me luck. I have a vintage Kohler corner tub from the 1930s that is original to my cottage. The Duchess of Windsor had the same one. Really. One day I'll post a picture of hers.
