Beatrix Potter Bunnies in Winter

I found another snow scene with Peter Rabbit that I haven't seen before. We can never get enough images by Beatrix Potter, can we? via

Doing Winter Chores - Beatrix Potter

Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Potter "Preparing for cold weather." via

Beautiful Cold Winter Snow Scene

We don't have snow on the ground any more and I'm glad. Today is cold and windy with a cloudless blue sky. It's a perfect December day. Have a great weekend. via

How Cold is It?

Well, it's not as cold as it is in this Greenland photo. Right now it's 7° here at my cottage but it feels like -2° even though there's no wind and bright sun. It's cozy inside and both animals are sleeping in the sun after their early morning outing and breakfast. Webster loves it when I feed him before I have my first sip of coffee. See you later. xo

Buried in The White Stuff

The ice on top of the snow is so strong you can walk on it and it won't cave in. Webster is completely freaked out by it because he slips and slides and can't find a place to "go". Tabitha has her claws so she's fine. Extreme caution is in order for everyone. My driveway is like the luge without going to Sochi.

Deep Sleet at My Cottage

Yikes! This is what Webster and Tabitha had to plow through this morning. My walk was perfectly clean when I went to bed last night and boy was I shocked when I opened the front door. I thought it was just raining but it's a rain and sleet mix about 6" deep. I have to go out and knock it off the two giant boxwood at the end of the walk. This stuff is way too heavy for them. I hope none of their thick woody stems have split, fingers crossed.

Be safe and don't go out if you don't have to.

Winterscape With Lake

It would be nice to have a lake to look out upon I think. There would be great beauty here no matter what the season. Found on Google Images.
