Love Old Alarm Clocks

I love the looks of old alarm clocks. I have one in my bedroom that doesn't keep very accurate time but I wind it up every night before I go to sleep. I rely on my iPhone to wake me up every morning.

Here is my clock on top of a great dog book, a thoughtful Christmas gift from a friend. The loud ticking of this clock when I first turn off my light at night helps put me to sleep. It also drowns out the "house noises" that usually keep me awake. I have very acute hearing and I can hear a pin drop in the next county. This old clock is a great noise canceling device and I'm so glad it turned out to be a sleeping aid. Enjoy the evening. xo

Dog Mug

Don't you love my dog mug? It was an unexpected present from my friend Stacey of Stacey Snacks. She has the best taste! I love it. There's nothing on TV these days but I'm hopeful there's something on my DVR to put me to sleep. xo

How to gift wrap a cat

This just struck me as funny. I think I could have done this yesterday if Tabitha had gotten in my way when I was in super-drive-wrapping-mode.

Santa Delivers

Click here to watch this Christmas surprise at the luggage pick-up carousel.

Isn't this the nicest thing? Poor guy who asked for underwear and socks. Doesn't this make you want to fly on WestJet Airlines?

River Rock Herb Markers

There's plenty of time to make some of these as gifts for your gardening friends. You could make paperweights too for a busy person's desk. Personalize them with MAIL, BILLS, TO DO, FILE, SHRED, FAMILY MEMBERS' NAMES, etc. I always pick up smooth stones when I see them.

Prairie Home Companion Floor Mat

I photographed this floor mat at the bottom of the basement stairs a while ago at an open house. I blocked out the owners' name. It was probably one of those promotional bonuses for contributing to NPR. Sometimes I sometimes listen to a little bit of Garrison Keillor on Prairie Home Companion when it begins on Saturday nights before I turn off the radio and switch to the television.
I thought this might be a good thing to stencil for DIY Christmas gifts or housewarming presents. All you would have to do is fill in the family name after you get the original pattern made. You could also make something to frame on your printer as well. What are you doing with all of those fonts anyway? This would be a good project to use some of them, wouldn't it? Have fun.

I Cannot Believe My Eyes

This is just too much, agreed? There is nothing left to wish for. I'll let you know if I find out anything more about the child who has everything.

Pet Hammock | Webster Wants One

Have you ever seen a more comfortable looking animal? I think not. Are you going to order a Pet Lounge for your favorite animal? Webster would love this but I have no more floor space. Let me know if you place an order for your lucky dog.
