Art Lover's Bathroom

This art gallery in the bath is charming. A true art and antique lover obviously lives here. The chintz draperies and the antique chest make this long, narrow room with the high ceilings very homey. What a place to take a nice long soak. via

Bathroom with Antiques

I love what the owner's did in this spacious bathroom. They used an old-fashioned clawfoot tub along with a modern walk-in shower. Instead of built-in cabinetry for the linens and toiletries, they used an antique cupboard. The well-worn antique oriental rug looks nice too. I wish I could see the wash basin which I think is to the right of the cupboard. The shiplap siding looks perfect and I love the owl etching and the cafe curtains. Such a beautiful room!!!!!! via

Delightful Decorated Chest of Drawers + Another Monarch Caterpillar Video

I love this vintage dresser the owners bought online from a Swedish auction. It has been cleverly covered with Antique botanical prints to increase its charm factor.

A George Washington Collection

The 35 framed antique images of George Washington in Victoria's (The Queen Vee) new cottage in Utah. This photo was posted on Instagram where she is known as @queenv47 and she mentioned it in a recent comment on my blog. It took her 5 hours to hang this arrangement and I think she did a good job, don't you? It's always fun to see the efforts of someone you know, even a virtual friend! Two thumbs up, Victoria. xo

Stunning Alphabet Letters Circa 1650

A series of stunning prints, titled Libellus Novus Elementorum Latinorum, designed by the Polish goldsmith Jan Christian Bierpfaff (1600-ca.1690) and engraved by fellow-countryman Jeremias Falck (1610–1677). See the remaining letters of this fabulous alphabet here

The Queen Mother's Decorating Style

The Queen Mother’s collection of Vanity Fair caricature prints at Birkhall in Scotland. Often called SPY prints in the trade as this was the signature of the artist on many. Love the tartan carpet on the stairs! via
