Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencils by Dalton Ghetti

Dalton Ghetti (a carpenter by trade) uses three basic tools to make his incredible creations – a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife. He even refuses to use a magnifying glass and has never sold any of his work, only given it away to friends. He said: “I use the sewing needle to make holes or dig into the graphite. I scratch and create lines and turn the graphite around slowly in my hand” Click on the link to see many more photos of this Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencil by Dalton Ghetti

You Can Never Have Too Many Drawers

If you're looking for a very clever storage idea, you might consider this one featured recently in Traditional Home magazine. I do much better with drawers than I do with closets for some reason. I love these drawers Down Under the stairs.

Sleeping Book Nook

Isn't this wonderful use of a small space? I think it is. I might require better reading lights but otherwise it's perfect. The juxtaposition of the gym foot locker and the antique old world painting works, doesn't it?
book lovers never go to bed alone

Exotic Serval Kitten Adopted by Ridgeback Dogs

Shakira the Serval kitten finds puppy love in her adoptive home "Peeking out from among these puppies this tiny kitten may look a little out of her depth but in fact she is right at home. Shakira, the five month-old Serval cat, was welcomed into this unlikely clan after she was rejected by her mother from a local zoo near Munich, Germany." She's right at home with this pack of Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

I love stories like this with happy endings, don't you?

I love the one about the three Rs. And the one about eating one daily meal together as a family too.

and that which we take the least care to acquire."
