Old Wheelbarrow with Fall Flowers

I photographed this vintage wheelbarrow filled with mums on Tuesday at a broker open house. There was a hose and a lawn sprinkler in the larger photo so I cropped them out. I have been busy cutting my grass really short because we have some rainy days coming. I like short grass before the leaves start to fall so they will blow away. It's looking good and it feels good to be working hard in this nice fall weather. xo

Bermuda Shutters

I wish I had these on my two living room windows for about two hours in the afternoon when the sun is going down on a blazing hot day. Bermuda shutters are so much better than awnings.

Textbook weather today. Cool and breezy with amazing clouds. Private pond around the corner from my house. Pulled off the road and got out of the car so I wouldn't get the overhead wires in the photo.

Painted Porch Floor

You know how much I love a painted floor and this one is exceptional! Happy Friday. This would be a nice place to wile away the weekend, wouldn't it? My life has been devoted lately to weeding, weeding, and more weeding. My birds are wonderful this year and I've been pulling weeds by hand. I don't spray and my gravel driveway is looking better.
