Such A Lovely Sunrise

This misty morning sunrise is spectacular, isn't it? I have tall trees in front of my rising sun so the sun's pretty high in the sky before I can see it. When the trees are bare in the winter, I have more misty mornings. via

Wonderful Outdoor Fireplace

I love the vines covering the cast stone. I see palm trees so this is in a tropical location which probably ensures year-round outdoor life. Hopefully, there is a pool near this beautiful fireplace which is perfect for warming up after a swim. So nice! via

Another Beautiful Antique Garden Urn

The patina on this urn is wonderful. This would be quite a statement piece in any garden, especially mine. via

Small Cottage with a One-Person Porch

This is too charming! I really want to go inside and look around to see if the inside is as perfect as the outside. via

Fabulous Ribbon Driveway

An old-fashioned design that harkens to the days when wagon ruts ran down the middle of a roadway, ribbon driveways typically put pavement beneath the wheels and grass in the middle. Back in fashion not just because they look great, they also create a permeable surface to reduce water runoff. Everything old is new again and I love this design. via

Perfection with Weeds

You can't imagine how good this photo makes me feel. These people have manicured bushes and beautiful plantings yet they have weeds in their pavers just like the ones I have in my gravel driveway. It's good to know somebody else doesn't want to spray either. I actually mowed my driveway last week and it's looking more and more like an extension of my lawn. via

All Decked Out for Summer

Isn't this wonderful? I really love the DIY table made from a double decker stack of pallets painted white with heavy duty casters. That would be a fun project that would be practically free. So clever and attractive too.

Gorgeous Home that Needs Some Pruning

This beautiful home is on the verge of being overgrown. I'm really into pruning and thinning and clipping so I could easily take this on and really enjoy it. via

Outside Fireplace Deck: NC Mountains

This elevated covered deck with a fireplace wall in the mountains of North Carolina is fabulous. I'm sure many chilly evenings will be enjoyed there by the owners and their guests. There's just something about an open fire, right? via
