Dibs. I saw it first! I photographed this lovely paint decorated chest at a broker open house recently. I would love to have this in my cottage. Swoon.
Rosemary, I digress, but did you recently post a source for all of your print magazine subscriptions, or was that another blogger that I read? (Apologies if it is.) I know you love good movies, good television and good books, and you introduced me to Kanopy, which I had never heard of, so I thought it might be you. If so, can you name the source again? Thanks so much.
Lisa -- Sorry, it wasn't me. I don't subscribe to any magazines. I am SO happy I was the one to introduce you to Kanopy through your public library. It's the best, isn't it? xo, Rosemary
Like this a lot! I have an old chest—nothing fancy but nice lines—that I have every intention of painting and decorating one of theses days. I do have an idea of how I want to paint/decorate it. An idea before painting always helps, I think. I’m sure you get to see some very interesting furniture in the houses you see/show. Do you have an interested buyer on that very pricey one you posted recently? Hope you make the sale on that one! JudyMac
JudyMac -- I have a friend who does amazing things on furniture with chalk paint. Keep looking, you will find a design you can master and it will be fun. I don't have a buyer yet for my pricey listing but other agents keep bringing their clients and a few have it on their short list so I am hopeful. I'll keep you posted. xo, Rosemary
As you well know it takes time to sell pricey listings, must have the perfect buyer show up. I hope your sellers are willing to be patient. Perhaps when you get a buyer and close you could make an offer on that delightful dresser, it would look great in your cottage.
