Abraham Lincoln issued the first Thanksgiving turkey pardon as a gesture to help unify a divided nation at the end of the Civil War.
I like them all. My family was quite taken with TV in the early days, so this one is my favorite even though I am not a sports fan. Have a great holiday. xo

I love Art Nouveau so the top two are my faves.
I think all the covers are delightful but if I had to pick a fav the New Yorker with Abe Lincoln would be the one.
When it comes to Thanksgiving I'm all about the stuffing and pumpkin pie or at least I was until I got a blood test last week.
