Heirloom Tomato Tart

Doesn't this look delicious. I've looked everywhere trying to find the recipe with no luck. Recipe for this tomato cheesecake here -- thanks to gkmelton for finding it. Love the photo anyway. I am exhausted from moving furniture and burning up the road. I bought two beautiful loveseats at a house sale, a pair of lamps and a few other things. My living room looks amazing. Photos later. I will be watching inspector George Gently tonight on PBS. Hope you have something that good to watch too. xo

It is possible that this "tart" was for a photo only.

Ann....Yes. I get Inspector George Gently on one of my 3 PBS stations. It is on WLIW-21 from Long Island.
http://www.locatetv.com/listings/wliw-pbs It comes on around 9:30 on Saturday night and is repeated sometime during the week, maybe Thursday. I also get the PBS stations from New York and New Jersey. I have a pretty limited cable plan from Verizon Fios. When I had a more expensive plan I got at least 7 PBS stations but the 3 I have now were the only ones I watched. You should google "Inspector George Gently free episodes online" to see if you can watch it too. I love the series. xo, Rosemary

If it's real, I would be curious as to the inside "body" of the tart. Something like a spinach quiche might be good. But still can't imagine how anyone would cut into it without sliding tomatoes making it a messy presentation.
All those items you picked up at the house sale sound extremely exciting. The two sales I went to this weekend were thumbs down.

I used the neat trick of right-clicking on the image and using the "search google for this image" feature.
