I adore black & white! Gorgeous kitchen, but all that neutral space would make some lovely colored foods irresistible... just imagine a bouquet in a basket with ruby colored grapes, oranges, dewy strawberries and blueberries, maybe some sliced mango on the side... I think it would be the perfect touch.
