Yikes! I was shocked to learn that the eggs tainted with salmonella that are still being laid by the hens in the heartland could still be used for products that will end up on the grocery store shelves and in their freezers in the form of mayonnaise, ice cream, and liquid eggs. It’s a common if little-known practice in the food industry — salvaging and selling products that may have been tainted with disease.

yes, this is extremely upsetting and should not be allowed. mind boggling how they get away with things like this. YUK is right!
