I've always loved the charming illustrations of Jessie Wilcox Smith. These two children reading together in a wonderful wing chair slipcovered in chintz is one I haven't seen before. It's perfect for today since they seem to be dressed in their Sunday best.

That's a very precious pic. Seeing that wing chair dressed in chintz is giving me ideas of slip covering my own wing chairs!!
Happy Sunday,

I, too, am a huge fan of Jessie Willcox Smith and thought I had seen most of her paintings, but not this one. It's a charmer, a real charmer.
I agree with Susan --- the chintz-covered wingback chair in the painting is giving me ideas.
