Great Powder Room w/ Zebra Wallpaper

I love this small powder room so much, don't you? Everything about it is just perfect. The bold red/orange wallpaper with large zebras is daring but it works perfectly with the black and white tile floor, white fixtures and trim paint, and black door knobs. I have had this photo saved on my phone for ages and I really cannot remember the source.

I have spent untold hours in the past week adulting. The hardest thing was changing my mobile phone plan and it's still not exactly right but I am close. It's so hard to speak to real people these days, isn't it? I have lots of patience and won't give up until it's exactly what I want and was promised. Wish me luck.  xo

This is a copy of a comment by Guestie: I also have seen this wonderful powder room. I remember now: it is included in an online portfolio of stylishly tiny powder rooms.
If you Google " Scalamandre + Zebra Wallpaper + powder room " you will see a number of charming examples of this darling composition.

Dealing with those phone carriers can be so challenging. I feel for you. Hang in there. That zebra wallpaper is beautiful! I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Carrie @ Cottage Cozy -- Carrie, On the day I started trying to change my phone plan I went around in circles from 10:00 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon. First I went to the physical store and was told this could only be done online. I couldn't do it online without getting a new line but I wanted to keep my phone number. Then I went back and forth with phone calls with real humans telling me to go to a store😡 Anyway, I finally got a change but was promised more data than I was given. PLUS they forgot to change my old plan and a payment went through. Too much information I know but now I have a special phone number to call to get a credit.
I'm glad you like this fabulous powder room and its beautiful zebra wallpaper. xo, Rosemary

Sending love and whatever it takes to navigate our way of life these days!

annette -- Thank you. It takes determination more than anything and taking notes so you will know what you were promised. Eventually I will get my new phone plan worked out but so far it has not been easy. xo, Rosemary

Such a striking bathroom! It makes me want to see the rest of the home.

Rosemary, my hat is off to anyone who can understand their phone plan. In years past, my husband and I purchased our phones and then used a carrier for our service. Last year, we both thought we were losing our minds during our annual sign-on. Surely they could make it a bit more user friendly.

Rosemary, I have seen that zebra wallpaper before, as well as that darling little powder room. It may have been in an interior design magazine years ago. I just wish that the paperhanger had spared the zebra's head in the section beneath the window! I love that whole vignette, as well.

A pipe burst in my hot water baseboard heater in sunroom last Thursday. Floors horribly damaged ... going through my own quagmire of hassles as well.

" This too shall pass ... "

Guestie -- Oh dear, I feel the pain about your poor sunroom floors. A friend of mine had a leak under her kitchen sink and the floorboards were waterlogged and raised but in time they went back to normal. Yours might have been underwater for too long and won't be this lucky. The weatherman this said spring was 55 days away so maybe you will be back to normal by then. It's always something, isn't it?
The paper hanger must have agonized about where to have whole zebras by starting at the top or ending at the bottom. I would love to see the whole finished room to see how he worked it all out. I'm glad to hear you have seen this image before. Maybe I can still find the link. xo, Rosemary

Pam -- I couldn't agree more. Today I spent endless hours trying to get a credit for double billing. My new wireless plan and my old plan are with the same carrier but they don't talk to each other. Why not? It is true agony to resolve a problem. I think I did today but I really won't know until the next billing period. YES, it could and should be more user friendly. Sorry to hear you and your husband had problems getting cell service on your new phones. I have had the same carrier since my first iPhone and I always bring that up when trying to get help. Plus I never give up and you know😉 xo, Rosemary

Guestie -- Thank you so much. I shall add those search words to the post. It was fun looking at all the rooms using this zebra wallpaper in different colors. You are the BEST! xo, Rosemary

A black and white floor rules in so many different settings! Always adds a bit of elegance.

JudyMac -- I couldn't agree more! Black and white is always right, even on a floor. It is time honored and never looks dated. I couldn't believe and a recent article I read on "Decorating Trends That Are On Their Way Out". One of them was black and white exterior paint colors. Isn't that shocking? It's classic and will always be elegant. xo, Rosemary

Oh my goodness, Rosemary - I am glad you now have a special phone number to get the credit you deserve but oh what a hassle and a time waster!

Carrie @ Cottage Cozy -- Carrie, Agreed. I haven't had such a hard time changing anything in ages. Trying to keep my same cell phone number and get a better plan for what I really need and use has NOT been easy. I am waiting for next month to see if I got the promised credit. It will all be worth it once all the kinks are worked out. Thanks for your concern. xo, Rosemary
