Open Porch connecting to Screened Porch

If this isn't the best of both worlds, I don't know what is. How wonderful it would be to have an open porch that connects to a screened porch? ‘Weybridge, farmhouse renovation.’ Smith & Vansant Architects,

Oh, boy! Could we use an arrangement like this because sometimes it so nice to sit out on our open porch (actually a deck), but during our bad bug season, how lovely it would be to have part of the area screened in!

Mama Pea -- Given the choice, I would always choose the screened in porch. But alas, I don't have one. This setup in Vermont is very enviable when the bugs come out. xo, Rosemary

We put a screened-in porch on one of our homes and loved it. It really is a valuable addition to a home. This featured home has the very best of both worlds!! Have a great weekend, Rosemary!

Pam -- People always love a home with a screened-in porch. They evoke fond memories and are great places to create new ones. xo, Rosemary
