My Birdbath in the Early Morning Light

Now I know why photographers prefer the early morning light. Everything just looks better before the sun has gotten very high in the sky. I took this photo a few minutes ago from the balcony with my Nikon. Of all my birdbaths, this one is the favorite for some reason. It serves as a perch too for the birds looking to pounce on an insect. See you later. Webster is whimpering to be fed.

What would we do without birds in our world! "Miss Hummer," as I call her, is back again this year to the feeder just outside my kitchen window. And a while ago, a little finch was having his morning bath in the birdbath a few steps away, while four others were perched on the patio fence waiting their turn. Just makes my day, every day.

Enjoy your day, Rosemary. I understand it may actually be warmer today up your way than it will be down here.

I'm wilting already. It's 82 going up to 90. Too hot, too soon. I'm glad the birds are part of your daily routine. They are so entertaining.
