I think this is true especially when you are a child. Now that I've grown up and growing older I feel like everything is changing far too quickly, especially me. I love the picture associated with this quote. It has elements of a Hudson River painting.

This picture is taken from my home place Rogaland Norway, Europa. Did you know? The monument is called Pulpit Rock. 650 meters. straight down to the Lysefjord. Nice to see it in Your blogg.
